Chanelmarie Brooks is a Jazz singer from the suburbs of St. Paul, Minnesota.  Her music is influenced by the soulful sounds of Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Mariah Carey, and many other artists. She uniquely blends her jazzy sounds with R&B inspired by the '90s sprinkled with hints of the groovy sounds from the '60s. Chanelmarie is eclectic yet cohesive. She draws inspiration from many sources and expresses it through poetically provocative lyrics. She prides herself on writing meaningful songs and transforming it into a catchy bop.

Sultry, light, feminine, and sweet are just a few words to describe the music of Chanelmarie.  Currently, she is working on her debut EP, I Am Chanel which introduces the world to the artist. The body of work takes you on an emotional roller coaster and conveys passion, creativity, heart, and soul. Chanelmarie spent years seeking feedback,  writing and erasing, scribbling lyrics, humming melodies, and practicing her vocal ability to master her craft and create a beautiful album for people to enjoy.
